I will call to God for help, and the Lord will save me.

God says, “Call me when trouble comes. I will help you, and you will honor me.”

I loved them, but they were against me. So I said a prayer.

As for me, all I need is to be close to God. I have made the Lord GOD my place of safety. And, God, I will tell about all that you have done.

When my followers call to me, I will answer them. I will be with them when they are in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them.

They went down into their grave alive. Everything they owned went with them. Then the earth closed over them. They were finished—gone from the camp!
