Pray to the Lord, and he will hear you. He will save you from all your troubles.

We have small troubles for a while now, but these troubles are helping us gain an eternal glory. That eternal glory is much greater than our troubles.

“I have told you these things so that you can have peace in me. In this world you will have troubles. But be brave! I have defeated the world!”

As a poor, helpless man I prayed to the Lord, and he heard me. He saved me from all my troubles.

I went to the Lord for help, and he listened. He saved me from all that I fear.

Good people might fall again and again, but they always get up. It is the wicked who are defeated by their troubles.

He will save you again and again. No evil will harm you.

You have let me see troubles and hard times, but you will give me new life; you will lift me up from this pit of death!

The Lord blessed Job with even more than he had in the beginning. Job got 14,000 sheep, 6000 camels, 2000 oxen, and 1000 female donkeys.

In those cities they helped the followers grow stronger in their faith and encouraged them to continue trusting God. They told them, “We must suffer many things on our way into God’s kingdom.”

Later, Naomi’s husband, Elimelech, died, so only Naomi and her two sons were left.

Then you can enjoy the kind of sacrifices you want. You will receive whole burnt offerings, and people will again offer bulls on your altar.

He heals their broken hearts and bandages their wounds.

So you should look for the Lord before it is too late. You should call to him now, while he is near.

God is high and lifted up. He lives forever. His name is holy. He says, “I live in a high and holy place, but I also live with people who are humble and sorry for their sins. I will give new life to those who are humble in spirit. I will give new life to those who are sorry for their sins.
