I will answer them before they call for help. I will help them before they finish asking.

Good people might have many problems, but the Lord will take them all away.

As a poor, helpless man I prayed to the Lord, and he heard me. He saved me from all my troubles.

When my followers call to me, I will answer them. I will be with them when they are in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them.

The Lord watches over those who do what is right, and he hears their prayers.

It was in those days that Hezekiah became very sick and near death. He prayed to the Lord, and he spoke to Hezekiah and gave him a sign.

“‘I thought about destroying the Israelites so that people would forget them completely!

God does not support evil people, and he does not abandon the innocent.

But by your great mercy, I can enter your house. I can worship in your holy Temple with fear and respect for you.

The enemy is finished! You destroyed their cities. There is nothing left to remind us of them.

May the Lord remember their sins forever, and may he cause people to forget his family completely.

Good people leave memories that bless us, but the wicked are soon forgotten.

I will turn against them and destroy them. They will be an example to others. People will laugh at them. I will remove them from my people. Then you will know that I am the Lord!

If they are captured and taken away by their enemies, I will command the sword, and it will kill them there. Yes, I will watch over them, but I will watch for ways to give them troubles, not for ways to do good things.”
