You can go to God Most High to hide. You can go to God All-Powerful for protection.

Hide me and protect me. I trust what you say.

He will protect me when I am in danger. He will hide me in his tent. He will take me up to his place of safety.

Many people are suffering— crushed by the weight of their troubles. But the Lord is a refuge for them, a safe place they can run to.

Others make plans to hurt them. They say such bad things about them. But you hide your people in your shelter and protect them.

Lord, I come to you for protection. Save me from my enemies.

Sing a new song to the Lord, because he has done amazing things! His powerful and holy right arm has brought him another victory.

He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see what he did and worship him. They will put their trust in the Lord.

They shouted loudly, “Victory belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

David sang this song to the Lord when the Lord saved him from Saul and all his other enemies.

Many pains will come to the wicked, but the Lord’s faithful love will surround those who trust in him.

Your old self has died, and your new life is kept with Christ in God.

Lord, when you bless good people, you surround them with your love, like a large shield that protects them.
