But you are near me, Lord, and all your commands can be trusted.

The Lord is near to everyone who sincerely calls to him for help.

Your goodness is forever, and your teachings can be trusted.

The Lord is close to those who have suffered disappointment. He saves those who are discouraged.

“The virgin will be pregnant and will give birth to a son. They will name him Immanuel.” (Immanuel means “God with us.”)

You know when I sit down and when I get up. You know my thoughts from far away.

We praise you, God! We praise you because you are near to us. We tell about the amazing things you have done.

God is our protection and source of strength. He is always ready to help us in times of trouble.

The rules you have given us are right. We can trust them completely.

“The Lord our God is near when we ask him to help us. No other nation has a god like that!

Your rules are always right. Help me understand them so that I can live.
