I called to the Lord, and he heard me. He heard my cries.

Don’t worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks for what you have.

Then Jesus taught the followers that they should always pray and never lose hope. He used this story to teach them:

Listen to me. Come quickly and save me. Be my Rock, my place of safety. Be my fortress and protect me!

Never stop praying. Be ready for anything by praying and being thankful.

Lord God, you are my Savior. I have been praying to you day and night.

It will be too late for them to enjoy talking with God All-Powerful. They should have prayed to God all the time.

Praise the Lord! He has heard my prayer for mercy.

Yes, you are my Rock and my protection. For the good of your name, lead me and guide me.
