They will teach you things that you can know for sure to be true. Then you can give good answers to the one who sent you.

But keep the Lord Christ holy in your hearts. Always be ready to answer everyone who asks you to explain about the hope you have.

I write this letter to you who believe in the Son of God. I write so that you will know that you have eternal life now.

But these are written so that you can believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God. Then, by believing, you can have life through his name.

To his master who sent him, a messenger who can be trusted is as refreshing as a drink of cold water on a hot summer day.

The Teacher tried very hard to find the right words, and he wrote the teachings that are true and dependable.

These are the proverbs of Solomon, the son of David and king of Israel.

They will teach you to develop your mind in the right way. You will learn to do what is right and to be honest and fair.
