The rich and the poor are the same. The Lord made them all.

The one who made me in my mother’s womb also made them. God shaped us all inside our mothers.

Whoever takes advantage of the poor insults their Maker, but whoever is kind to them honors him.

The Lord makes some poor, and he makes others rich. He humbles some people, and he honors others.

In one way the poor and those who steal from them are the same—the Lord made them both.

He does not respect leaders more than other people. And he does not respect the rich more than the poor. God made everyone.

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the foot, “I don’t need you!”
