The people in Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica. They were so glad to hear the message Paul told them. They studied the Scriptures every day to make sure that what they heard was really true.

Ask for good judgment. Cry out for understanding.

Children, listen to your father’s teaching. Pay attention and you will learn how to learn.

My son, pay attention to what I say. Listen closely to my words.

But a man who commits adultery is a fool. He brings about his own destruction.
