Their ways are crooked; they lie and cheat.
But, Lord, when you punish those who do evil, also punish those who have stopped following your way. Let Israel always enjoy peace!
Criminals cause trouble wherever they go, but good people are honest and fair.
so that you will be blameless and pure, children of God without any fault. But you are living with evil people all around you, who have lost their sense of what is right. Among those people you shine like lights in a dark world,
And you are not really his children. You are completely unfaithful to him. You are crooked liars.
You don’t know how to live in peace. You don’t do what is right and fair. You are crooked, and anyone who lives like that will never know true peace.

Those who live right respect the Lord, but dishonest people hate him.
