It is worth nothing for you to have the whole world if you yourself are lost. You could never pay enough to buy back your life.

But the family of the dead man may accept money. If they accept money, the man who owned the bull should not be killed. But he must pay as much money as the judge decides.

Some people pretend they are rich, but they have nothing. Others pretend they are poor, but they are really rich.

The light of those who do right shines brighter and brighter, but the lamp of the wicked becomes darker and darker.

A wise person’s reward is wealth, but a fool’s reward is foolishness.

Life is more important than food, and the body is more important than what you put on it.
