There is a kind of baptism that I must suffer through. I feel very troubled until it is finished.

When he tasted the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and died.

Jesus said, “My food is to do what the one who sent me wants me to do. My food is to finish the work that he gave me to do.

My God, I am happy to do whatever you want. I never stop thinking about your teachings.”

So his brothers left to go to the festival. After they left, Jesus went too, but he did not let people see him.

“But now I must obey the Spirit and go to Jerusalem. I don’t know what will happen to me there.

Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword back in its place! I must drink from the cup the Father has given me.”

They confessed the bad things they had done, and John baptized them in the Jordan.

Jesus continued speaking: “I came to bring fire to the world. I wish it were already burning!
