Jesus said, “Today is the day for this family to be saved from sin. Yes, even this tax collector is one of God’s chosen people.

He gave the command and healed them, so they were saved from the grave.

Crispus was the leader of that synagogue. He and all the people living in his house believed in the Lord Jesus. Many other people in Corinth also listened to Paul. They, too, believed and were baptized.

After this the jailer took Paul and Silas home and gave them some food. All the people were very happy because they now believed in God.

He will speak to you, and what he tells you will save you and everyone living in your house.’

because when he speaks, things happen. And if he says, “Stop!”—then it stops.

The man asked, “What time did my son begin to get well?” They answered, “It was about one o’clock yesterday when the fever left him.”

On the way home, the man’s servants came and met him. They said, “Your son is well.”
