Be patient while I speak. Then after I have finished speaking, you may make fun of me.

People stand around me and laugh at me. I watch them as they tease and insult me.

People have crowded around me. They make fun of me and slap my face.

My friend speaks for me, while my eyes pour out tears to God.

“Be quiet and let me talk! I accept whatever happens to me.

If God checked you very closely, would he see that you are right? Do you really think you can fool God the same as you fool people?

Do you think we don’t have an answer for you? Do you think no one will warn you when you laugh at God?

“Listen to what I say. Let this be your way of comforting me.

But you have seen it all with your own eyes. So why do you say such useless things?
