Seven days later Noah sent the dove out again. But this time the dove didn’t come back.

So the Lord is waiting to show his mercy to you. He wants to rise and comfort you. The Lord is the God who does the right thing, so he will bless everyone who waits for his help.

But, Lord, we are waiting for your way of justice. We want to honor you and your name.

At that time people will say, “Here is our God! He is the one we have been waiting for. He has come to save us. We have been waiting for our Lord. So we will rejoice and be happy when he saves us.”

After seven days Noah again sent out the dove.

The Lord has turned away from the family of Jacob. But I will wait for him. I trust that he will come to save us.

Wait for the Lord’s help. Be strong and brave, and wait for the Lord’s help.

This message is about a special time in the future. This message is about the end, and it will come true. Just be patient and wait for it. That time will come; it will not be late.

And that afternoon the dove came back to Noah. The dove had a fresh olive leaf in its mouth. This was a sign to show Noah that there was dry ground on the earth.

People in Moab, leave your towns. Go live among the rocks; be like a dove that makes its nest at the opening of a cave.”
