Then Isaac became so upset that he began to shake. He said, “Then who was it that cooked and brought me food before you came? I ate it all, and I blessed him. Now it is too late to take back my blessing.”

God never changes his mind about the people he calls. He never decides to take back the blessings he has given them.

Isaac blessed the future of Jacob and Esau. He did that because he had faith.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Christ, God has given us every spiritual blessing in heaven.

A thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But I came to give life—life that is full and good.

I am trembling with fear. I am terrified!

“The thunder and lightning frighten me; my heart pounds in my chest.

When I think about what happened to me, I feel afraid and my body shakes!

The Lord said to her, “The leaders of two nations are in your body. Two nations will come from you, and they will be divided. One of them will be stronger, and the older will serve the younger.”

Isaac said, “Your brother tricked me! He came and took your blessing!”

Isaac called Jacob and blessed him. Then Isaac gave him a command and said, “You must not marry a Canaanite woman.

He told me to bless them. He blessed them, so I cannot change that.
