Their tents and flocks will be taken away. Their tents and all their riches will be carried off. Their enemy will take away the camels. Men will shout this to them: ‘Terrible things are happening all around us.’

The boys grew up. Esau became a skilled hunter, who loved to be out in the fields. But Jacob was a quiet man, who stayed at home.

Adah gave birth to Jabal. Jabal was the father of people who live in tents and earn their living by keeping cattle.

He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the slaves, and all the other things he had gotten in Haran. Then he and his group moved to the land of Canaan.

Abram and Lot had so many animals that the land could not support both of them together.

So Abram left Haran just like the Lord said, and Lot went with him. Abram was 75 years old when he left Haran.
