If we let him continue doing these things, everyone will believe in him. Then the Romans will come and take away our Temple and our nation.”

When King Herod heard about this, it upset him as well as everyone else in Jerusalem.

“When men bring you into the synagogues before the leaders and other important men, don’t worry about what you will say.

Jason is keeping them in his house. They all do things against the laws of Caesar. They say there is another king called Jesus.”

They made Jason and the other believers deposit money to guarantee that there would be no more trouble. Then they let them go.
