Araunah looked and saw King David and his officers coming to him. Araunah went out and bowed his face to the ground.

He looked up and saw three men standing in front of him. When he saw the men, he ran to them and bowed before them.

So David did what Gad told him to. David did what the Lord wanted and went to see Araunah.

He said, “Why has my lord and king come to me?” David answered, “I came to buy the threshing floor from you. Then I can build an altar to the Lord. Then the disease will stop.”

Then, on the third day, a young soldier from Saul’s camp came to Ziklag. His clothes were torn, and he had dirt on his head. He came to David and bowed with his face to the ground.
