Yes, you are my Rock and my protection. For the good of your name, lead me and guide me.

He loves me and protects me. He is my safe place high on the mountain. He rescues me. He is my shield. I trust in him. He helps me rule my people.

I say to the Lord, “You are my place of safety, my fortress. My God, I trust in you.”

“The Lord is the Rock, and his work is perfect! Yes, all his ways are right! God is true and faithful. He is good and honest.

There is no holy God like the Lord. There is no God but you. There is no Rock like our God.

So I tell you, you are Peter. And I will build my church on this rock. The power of death will not be able to defeat my church.
