So we always have confidence. We know that while we live in this body, we are away from the Lord.

Dear friends, now we are children of God. We have not yet been shown what we will be in the future. But we know that when Christ comes again, we will be like him. We will see him just as he is.

After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back. Then I will take you with me, so that you can be where I am.

Our only goal is to always please the Lord, whether we are living here in this body or there with him.

I have done only what is right, so I will see your face. And seeing you, I will be fully satisfied.

You will teach me the right way to live. Just being with you will bring complete happiness. Being at your right side will make me happy forever.

Nothing that God judges guilty will be there in that city. The throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city. God’s servants will worship him.

But he said, “Why are you crying and making me feel so sad? I am willing to be put in jail in Jerusalem. I am even ready to die for the name of the Lord Jesus!”

The wicked will be defeated by their evil, but good people are protected by their honesty.

Whoever serves me must follow me. My servants must be with me everywhere I am. My Father will give honor to anyone who serves me.
