Benaiah son of Jehoiada was in charge of the Kerethites and Pelethites, and David’s sons were priests.

Someone told King Solomon that Joab was at the altar in the Lord’s Tent. So Solomon ordered Benaiah to go and kill him.

Then they said to Samson, “We have come to tie you up. We will give you to the Philistines.” Samson said to the men from Judah, “Promise me that you yourselves will not hurt me.”
