So the king’s wife did what he said. She went to the home of Ahijah the prophet in Shiloh. Ahijah was very old and had become blind.

So the prophet wrapped his face with a cloth. This way no one could see who he was. The prophet went and waited for the king by the road.

Ahaz offered sacrifices and burned incense in the high places, on the hills, and under every green tree.
