Some Jews said to Jesus, “Show us a miracle as a sign from God. Prove that you have the right to do these things.”

Then Gideon said to him, “If you would, please give me some proof that you really are the Lord.

I will give you people proof,’ says the Lord, ‘that I will punish you here in Egypt. Then you will know for sure that my promises to harm you will really happen.

When King Jeroboam heard the message from the man of God about the altar in Bethel, he took his hand off the altar and pointed at the man. He said, “Arrest that man!” But when the king said this, his arm became paralyzed. He could not move it.
