For the fate of people and the fate of animals is the same. As one dies, so dies the other; they all have the same breath. People have no advantage over animals since everything is futile.

What will you do on the day of punishment when devastation comes from far away? Who will you run to for help? Where will you leave your wealth?

Should I not punish them for these things? This is the Lord’s declaration. Should I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?

Daughter Zion, your punishment is complete; He will not lengthen your exile. But He will punish your iniquity, Daughter Edom, and will expose your sins.

If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and consumes their enemies; if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way.
