“You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.

But You, Lord, be gracious to me and raise me up; then I will repay them.

Do not take revenge or bear a grudge against members of your community, but love your neighbor as yourself; I am Yahweh.

honor your father and your mother; and love your neighbor as yourself.

“You have heard that it was said to our ancestors, Do not murder, and whoever murders will be subject to judgment.

“You have heard that it was said, Do not commit adultery.

No Ammonite or Moabite may enter the Lord’s assembly; none of their descendants, even to the tenth generation, may ever enter the Lord’s assembly.

Never seek their peace or prosperity as long as you live.

“Remember what the Amalekites did to you on the journey after you left Egypt.

Indeed, if you keep the royal law prescribed in the Scripture, Love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well.

And we have this command from Him: The one who loves God must also love his brother.
