“This is the law of the Nazirite: On the day his time of consecration is completed, he must be brought to the entrance to the tent of meeting.

Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet:

And the crowds kept saying, “This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee! ”

When he had gone out to the gateway, another woman saw him and told those who were there, “This man was with Jesus the Nazarene! ”

“What do You have to do with us, Jesus — Nazarene? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are — the Holy One of God! ”

In those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized in the Jordan by John.

In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth,

“Jesus the Nazarene is passing by,” they told him.

When they had completed everything according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.

“Jesus the Nazarene,” they answered. “I am He,” Jesus told them. Judas, who betrayed Him, was also standing with them.

Then He asked them again, “Who is it you’re looking for? ” “Jesus the Nazarene,” they said.

Pilate also had a sign lettered and put on the cross. The inscription was: JESUS THE NAZARENETHE KING OF THE JEWS.

“Men of Israel, listen to these words: This Jesus the Nazarene was a man pointed out to you by God with miracles, wonders, and signs that God did among you through Him, just as you yourselves know.

For we have found this man to be a plague, an agitator among all the Jews throughout the Roman world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes!

for indeed, you will conceive and give birth to a son. You must never cut his hair, because the boy will be a Nazirite to God from birth, and he will begin to save Israel from the power of the Philistines.”

Making a vow, she pleaded, “Lord of Hosts, if You will take notice of Your servant’s affliction, remember and not forget me, and give Your servant a son, I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and his hair will never be cut.”
