Then His disciples asked Him, “What does this parable mean? ”
Let us strive to know the Lord. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.
Then the disciples came up and asked Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables? ”
“You, then, listen to the parable of the sower:
Then He dismissed the crowds and went into the house. His disciples approached Him and said, “Explain the parable of the weeds in the field to us.”
Then Peter replied to Him, “Explain this parable to us.”
When He was alone with the Twelve, those who were around Him asked Him about the parables.
And He did not speak to them without a parable. Privately, however, He would explain everything to His own disciples.
I do not call you slaves anymore, because a slave doesn’t know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have heard from My Father.
