Then fear came over everyone, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has risen among us,” and “God has visited His people.”

And a woman in the town who was a sinner found out that Jesus was reclining at the table in the Pharisee’s house. She brought an alabaster jar of fragrant oil

and stood behind Him at His feet, weeping, and began to wash His feet with her tears. She wiped His feet with the hair of her head, kissing them and anointing them with the fragrant oil.

Jesus replied to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” “Teacher,” he said, “say it.”

“Sir,” the woman replied, “I see that You are a prophet.

And there was a lot of discussion about Him among the crowds. Some were saying, “He’s a good man.” Others were saying, “No, on the contrary, He’s deceiving the people.”

So a second time they summoned the man who had been blind and told him, “Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner! ”
