Give to everyone who asks you, and from one who takes your things, don’t ask for them back.

He distributes freely to the poor; his righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted in honor.

Happy is one who cares for the poor; the Lord will save him in a day of adversity.

Kindness to the poor is a loan to the Lord, and He will give a reward to the lender.

He is filled with craving all day long, but the righteous give and don’t hold back.

A generous person will be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.

Give a portion to seven or even to eight, for you don’t know what disaster may happen on earth.

When I applied my mind to know wisdom and to observe the activity that is done on the earth (even though one’s eyes do not close in sleep day or night),

So My heavenly Father will also do to you if each of you does not forgive his brother from his heart.”

But I tell you, don’t resist an evildoer. On the contrary, if anyone slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

But give from what is within to the poor, , and then everything is clean for you.

Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Make money-bags for yourselves that won’t grow old, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.

When Jesus heard this, He told him, “You still lack one thing: Sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

If anyone hits you on the cheek, offer the other also. And if anyone takes away your coat, don’t hold back your shirt either.

Just as you want others to do for you, do the same for them.

Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure — pressed down, shaken together, and running over — will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

In every way I’ve shown you that by laboring like this, it is necessary to help the weak and to keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, for He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: Though He was rich, for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich.

The thief must no longer steal. Instead, he must do honest work with his own hands, so that he has something to share with anyone in need.
