This is an evil in all that is done under the sun: there is one fate for everyone. In addition, the hearts of people are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live — after that they go to the dead.

After they had ordered them to leave the Sanhedrin, they conferred among themselves,

But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it’s right in the sight of God for us to listen to you rather than to God, you decide;

When they heard this, they were enraged and wanted to kill them.

When they heard these things, they were enraged in their hearts and gnashed their teeth at him.

But they will not make further progress, for their lack of understanding will be clear to all, as theirs was also.
