The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had seen and heard, just as they had been told.
May Yahweh, the God of Israel, be praised from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen! ” Hallelujah!
Let them give thanks to the Lord for His faithful love and His wonderful works for all humanity.
The humble will have joy after joy in the Lord, and the poor people will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
When the crowds saw this, they were awestruck and gave glory to God who had given such authority to men.
He was preaching: “Someone more powerful than I will come after me. I am not worthy to stoop down and untie the strap of His sandals.
Instantly he could see, and he began to follow Him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.
When they heard this they became silent. Then they glorified God, saying, “So God has granted repentance resulting in life even to the Gentiles! ”
