But the one sown on the good ground — this is one who hears and understands the word, who does bear fruit and yields: some 100, some 60, some 30 times what was sown.”

But the ones sown on good ground are those who hear the word, welcome it, and produce a crop: 30, 60, and 100 times what was sown.”
He called 10 of his slaves, gave them 10 minas, and told them, ‘Engage in business until I come back.’
“ ‘Well done, good slave! ’ he told him. ‘Because you have been faithful in a very small matter, have authority over 10 towns.’
“So he said to him, ‘You will be over five towns.’
For if the eagerness is there, it is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have.
