So Noah waited seven more days and sent out the dove from the ark again.

When the dove came to him at evening, there was a plucked olive leaf in her beak. So Noah knew that the water on the earth’s surface had gone down.

Wait for the Lord; be strong and courageous. Wait for the Lord.

On that day it will be said, “Look, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us. This is the Lord; we have waited for Him. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

Yes, Yahweh, we wait for You in the path of Your judgments. Our desire is for Your name and renown.

Therefore the Lord is waiting to show you mercy, and is rising up to show you compassion, for the Lord is a just God. All who wait patiently for Him are happy.

I will wait for the Lord, who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob. I will wait for Him.

Abandon the towns! Live in the cliffs, residents of Moab! Be like a dove that nests inside the mouth of a cave.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it testifies about the end and will not lie. Though it delays, wait for it, since it will certainly come and not be late.
