Genesis 32:11

Please rescue me from the hand of my brother Esau, for I am afraid of him; otherwise, he may come and attack me, the mothers, and their children.

But Esau ran to meet him, hugged him, threw his arms around him, and kissed him. Then they wept.

Then King David went in, sat in the Lord’s presence, and said, Who am I, Lord God, and what is my house that You have brought me this far?

Redeem me from human oppression, and I will keep Your precepts.

Listen to my cry, for I am very weak. Rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.

Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.

Guard me and deliver me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in You.

Listen closely to me; rescue me quickly. Be a rock of refuge for me, a mountain fortress to save me.

Vindicate me, God, and defend my cause against an ungodly nation; rescue me from the deceitful and unjust man.

An offended brother is harder to reach than a fortified city, and quarrels are like the bars of a fortress.

If the God we serve exists, then He can rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He can rescue us from the power of you, the king.

the roar of battle will rise against your people, and all your fortifications will be demolished in a day of war, like Shalman’s destruction of Beth-arbel. Mothers will be dashed to pieces along with their children.

And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

“If you come across a bird’s nest with chicks or eggs, either in a tree or on the ground along the road, and the mother is sitting on the chicks or eggs, you must not take the mother along with the young.

Then they cried out to the Lord and said, ‘We have sinned, for we abandoned the Lord and worshiped the Baals and the Ashtoreths. Now deliver us from the power of our enemies, and we will serve You.’

May the Lord be judge and decide between you and me. May He take notice and plead my case and deliver me from you.”
