The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday.

The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will accomplish this.

Even so, be strong, Zerubbabel” — this is the Lord’s declaration. “Be strong, Joshua son of Jehozadak, high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land” — this is the Lord’s declaration. “Work! For I am with you” — the declaration of the Lord of Hosts.

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with people.

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with David but had left Saul.

and continued to be successful in all his activities because the Lord was with him.

David marched out with the army and was successful in everything Saul sent him to do. Saul put him in command of the soldiers, which pleased all the people and Saul’s servants as well.
