Those who oppose the Lord will be shattered; He will thunder in the heavens against them. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth. He will give power to His king; He will lift up the horn of His anointed.

The Lord thundered from heaven; the Most High projected His voice.

He will build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

“Now this is what you are to say to My servant David: ‘This is what the Lord of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture and from following the sheep to be ruler over My people Israel.

Do you have an arm like God’s? Can you thunder with a voice like His?

There I will make a horn grow for David; I have prepared a lamp for My anointed one.

He has raised up a horn for His people, resulting in praise to all His godly ones, to the Israelites, the people close to Him. Hallelujah!

The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers conspire together against the Lord and His Anointed One:

“I have consecrated My King on Zion, My holy mountain.”

You will break them with a rod of iron; You will shatter them like pottery.”

Now I know that the Lord gives victory to His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with mighty victories from His right hand.

Some take pride in chariots, and others in horses, but we take pride in the name of Yahweh our God.

Lord, the king finds joy in Your strength. How greatly he rejoices in Your victory!

The Lord is the strength of His people; He is a stronghold of salvation for His anointed.

You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy more than your companions.

For You are their magnificent strength; by Your favor our horn is exalted.

My faithfulness and love will be with him, and through My name his horn will be exalted.

I will extend his power to the sea and his right hand to the rivers.

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were under the tyranny of the Devil, because God was with Him.

“Now here is the king you’ve chosen, the one you requested. Look, this is the king the Lord has placed over you.

Isn’t the wheat harvest today? I will call on the Lord and He will send thunder and rain, so that you will know and see what a great evil you committed in the Lord’s sight by requesting a king for yourselves.”

Samuel called on the Lord, and on that day the Lord sent thunder and rain. As a result, all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel.

Here I am. Bring charges against me before the Lord and His anointed: Whose ox or donkey have I taken? Whom have I wronged or mistreated? From whose hand have I taken a bribe to overlook something? I will return it to you.”

Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingship of Israel away from you today and has given it to your neighbor who is better than you.

The Lord said to Samuel, “How long are you going to mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go. I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem because I have selected a king from his sons.”

Samuel was offering the burnt offering as the Philistines drew near to fight against Israel. The Lord thundered loudly against the Philistines that day and threw them into such confusion that they fled before Israel.
