I opened my mouth wide and panted, for I longed for your mitzvot.

As a servant who earnestly desires the shadow, as a hireling who looks for his wages,
I rejoice at your word, as one who finds great spoil.
I have longed for your yeshu`ah, LORD. Your law is my delight.
My soul is consumed with longing for your ordinances at all times.
Behold, I long for your precepts! Revive me in your righteousness.
I am the LORD, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Follow after shalom with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,
as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby,
