For the LORD brought Yehudah low because of Achaz king of Yisra'el; for he had dealt wantonly in Yehudah, and trespassed severely against the LORD.

Blessed are those who keep justice. Blessed is one who does what is right at all times.

Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.

Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.

If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

But he who looks into the perfect Torah of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

Blessed are those who do his mitzvot, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

The child Shemu'el ministered to the LORD before `Eli. The word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no frequent vision.
