The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying,
Therefore you will have no one who divides the land by lot in the assembly of the LORD.
the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Yarden at Yericho eastward, toward the sunrise.
These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: El`azar the Kohen, and Yehoshua the son of Nun.
These are the inheritances which the children of Yisra'el took in the land of Kena`an, which El`azar the Kohen, and Yehoshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers' [houses] of the tribes of the children of Yisra'el, distributed to them,
Yehoshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD: and there Yehoshua divided the land to the children of Yisra'el according to their divisions.
