until the LORD removed Yisra'el out of his sight, as he spoke by all his servants the prophets. So Yisra'el was carried away out of their own land to Ashur to this day.
These were those who went up from Tel Melah, Tel-Charsha, Keruv, Addon, and Immer; but they could not show their fathers' houses, nor their seed, whether they were of Yisra'el:
Moshe commanded the children of Yisra'el, saying, This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which the LORD has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
When the Elyon gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the children of men, he set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the children of Yisra'el.
Appoint for you three men of each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall arise, and walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance; and they shall come to me.
