But Yeshua, answering, said to him, *Allow it now, for this is the fitting way for us to fulfill all righteousness.* Then he allowed him.
It pleased the LORD, for his righteousness' sake, to magnify the law, and make it honorable.
But Yochanan would have hindered him, saying, *I need to be immersed by you, and you come to me?*
They were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the mitzvot and ordinances of the Lord.

If you keep my mitzvot, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's mitzvot, and remain in his love.
Yeshua said to them, *My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work.
He who sent me is with me. The Father hasn't left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.*
