From that time, Yeshua began to show his talmidim that he must go to Yerushalayim and suffer many things from the elders, chief Kohanim, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
Command therefore that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest perhaps his talmidim come at night and steal him away, and tell the people, 'He is risen from the dead;' and the last deception will be worse than the first.*
He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, the chief Kohanim, and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

He took the twelve aside, and said to them, *Behold, we are going up to Yerushalayim, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.
They began to accuse him, saying, *We found this man perverting the nation, forbidding paying taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Messiah, a king.*
saying, *The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, chief Kohanim, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.*
