who confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; who says of Yerushalayim, She shall be inhabited; and of the cities of Yehudah, They shall be built, and I will raise up the waste places of it;
*Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit on him. He will proclaim justice to the nations.
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, *I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.*
He said to them, *This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the Torah of Moshe, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled.*
that the word of Yeshaiyahu the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, *Lord, who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?*
For those who dwell in Yerushalayim, and their rulers, because they didn't know him, nor the voices of the prophets which are read every Shabbat, fulfilled them by condemning him.
