Yeshua answered him, *I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues, and in the temple, where the Jews always meet. I said nothing in secret.


Now very early in the morning, he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him. He sat down, and taught them.


For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: 'He was counted with the lawless.' For that which concerns me has an end.*


Yeshua responded, as he taught in the temple, *How is it that the scribes say that the Messiah is the son of David?


But all this has happened, that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.* Then all the talmidim left him, and fled.


How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that it must be so?*


Now all this has happened, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,


It was winter, and Yeshua was walking in the temple, in Shlomo's porch.


Again, therefore, Yeshua spoke to them, saying, *I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.*


Now on the last day of the feast, Hoshana Rabbah, Yeshua stood and cried out, *If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!


He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief Kohanim and the scribes and the leading men among the people sought to destroy him.


They came again to Yerushalayim, and as he was walking in the temple, the chief Kohanim, and the scribes, and the elders came to him,


In that hour Yeshua said to the multitudes, *Have you come out as against a robber with swords and clubs to seize me? I sat daily in the temple teaching, and you didn't arrest me.


He arose from there and came into the borders of Yehudah and beyond the Yarden. Multitudes came together to him again. As he usually did, he was again teaching them.


Yeshua answered them, *Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me?


They all left him, and fled.
