In that day the LORD made a covenant with Avram, saying, *To your seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Perat:
This is what the LORD, the King of Yisra'el, and his Redeemer, the LORD of Armies, says: *I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.
I make a decree, that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniyel; for he is the living God, and steadfast forever, His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed; and his dominion shall be even to the end.
I will not execute the fierceness of my anger. I will not return to destroy Efrayim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of you; and I will not come in wrath.
Aren't you from everlasting, LORD my God, my Holy One? We will not die. LORD, you have appointed him for judgment. You, Rock, have established him to punish.
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor the son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?
that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.
