The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the humble; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening [of the prison] to those who are bound;
Which of the two did the will of his father?* They said to him, *The first.* Yeshua said to them, *Most certainly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into the Kingdom of God before you.
It happened soon afterwards, that he went about through cities and villages, preaching and bringing the good news of the Kingdom of God. With him were the twelve,
He said, *To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables; that 'seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.'
The emissaries, when they had returned, told him what things they had done. He took them, and withdrew apart to a deserted place of a city called Beit-Tzaidah.
The day began to wear away; and the twelve came, and said to him, *Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding villages and farms, and lodge, and get food, for we are here in a deserted place.*
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?
