The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying,
Ya`akov vowed a vow, saying, *If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and clothing to put on,
These are the statutes, ordinances and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Yisra'el in Mount Sinai by Moshe.
*Speak to the children of Yisra'el, and say to them, 'When a man makes a vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by your valuation.
Everything devoted in Yisra'el shall be yours.
