Yehudah said to Shim`on his brother, Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Kena`anim; and I likewise will go with you into your lot. So Shim`on went with him.
She conceived again, and bare a son, and said, *Because the LORD has heard that I am hated, he has therefore given me this son also.* She named him Shim`on.
He said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then you shall help me; but if the children of `Ammon be too strong for you, then I will come and help you.
The second lot came out for Shim`on, even for the tribe of the children of Shim`on according to their families: and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Yehudah.
Yehudah went with Shim`on his brother, and they struck the Kena`anim who inhabited Tzefat, and utterly destroyed it. The name of the city was called Chormah.
