I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemot to Sichon king of Cheshbon with words of shalom, saying,

and Yahatz, and Kedemot, and Mefa`at,

Out of the tribe of Re'uven, Betzer with its suburbs, and Yahatz with its suburbs,

Out of the tribe of Gad, Ramot in Gil`ad with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Machanayim with its suburbs,
